Hillary R. Heath

Meet cast member Hillary R. Heath, who will be portraying Beatrice. Beatrice attends the Duchess’s speech in the park with Roberta. While Roberta is less than enthused, Beatrice becomes a quick convert, and the Duchess quickly grants her a title.

Hillary R. Heath is an Atlanta-based writer, director, comedian, and performer. She is proud to have called Atlanta her home for her entire life. Hillary attended Oglethorpe University where she worked and studied with The Georgia Shakespeare Festival and graduated with a degree in Theatre.

During her time at Oglethorpe, she was thrilled to participate in a Grant Park cleanup project during a day of service. She has fond memories of filming two projects in Grant Park, losing an iPhone to a Grant Park public toilet, and numerous field trips during her elementary school days.

With her background in theatre, Hillary has participated in the Atlanta Fringe Festival and worked as an Artistic Associate at Pinch 'n' Ouch Theatre where she studied the Meisner Acting Technique and directed the regional premiere of “Gidion's Knot” by Johnna Adams. Hillary has directed for the One Minute Play Festival since 2016.

Hillary was a founding member of Atlanta-based sketch comedy group, Critical Crop Top, where she wrote, directed, produced, and performed live sketch comedy and short films. This past February, she was honored to produce and stage manage “Black AF”, a new sketch comedy show. She also started a podcast, "While We Were Drinking."

These days, Hillary can be seen around the Southeast performing stand up comedy. This past year she was thrilled to work with You42 to direct episodes one and two of their new comedy web series “#PrettyFunny”.
